Days between dates calculator
Count calendar days between a start and end date. Choose whether to include the end date for an inclusive date count.
How to calculate it
By default, the calculator measures the number of calendar-day boundaries between two dates. From 1 January to 2 January is one day. Turn on “Include end date” to count both dates, giving two days instead. Weekends and public holidays count as ordinary calendar days.

Frequently asked questions
Are leap years handled?
Yes. February 29 is included when it falls within the selected date range. Gregorian leap years are divisible by four, except century years unless divisible by 400.
Does this count working days?
No. All calendar days are counted, including weekends and public holidays. Business-day counts depend on local holiday calendars.
Do daylight-saving changes affect the result?
No. Dates are compared at UTC midnight so clock changes cannot add or remove a calendar day. This is a date count, not the exact elapsed hours between local times.
